Industry Product Similarity (IPS)
The IPS measure used in “Anticompetitive Effects of Horizontal Acquisitions: The Impact of Within-Industry Product Similarity”, Journal of Financial Economics, 2022, 144(2), 645–669. It gives, for each 3-digit SIC industry and year, how similar the products of firms within that industry are.
